Hi friend I saw your AcpiTbls.rw and I found a SLIC :
Signature "SLIC"
Length 0x00000176 (374)
Revision 0x01 (1)
Checksum 0x3E (62)
OEM ID "ACRSYS"
OEM Table ID "ACRPRDCT"
OEM Revision 0x00000001 (1)
Creator ID "ANNI"
Creator Revision 0x00000001 (1)

It's an Acer SLP, are You using an Slic emulator ? if so,
You have to un-install it (you have use pure bios on Win7 without anything other),
flash new bios and then re-save the AcpiTbls.rw pure by RW-Anithing !!!
otherwise the mod don't works and risk to brick pc !
With regards

If You want to mod SLIC 2.1 your bios You have to post RW file on pure OS Win7/8 or Win XP as it will show your real slic presence and PMTool can use it for doing the mod differences.
If Slic is not present You have to use PMTool and insert a new module (SSV2 option) or if present use Dynamic option.

OK, I made a new RW report off a different HDD I had with WinXP Pro and ran it again, no emulation this time.

Please use same link as before, I replaced the 7zip file with the new one on the hosted website.

Thanks for the help Big Grin

File not downloadable (server not available), I don't know why ?
Try to sign on RGhost server, it's better and free.

Ok, It seems as You don't have any Slic 1.0, 2.0 or 2.1 into your bios, so
we can do anpther check use this tool (SlicTool) ad post all 4 tabs shots (photos),
so I can look what it's really in.

P.S. if there isn't any slic we have to use SSV2 method (new module SLIC introduce in Bios).
Looks like not present at all

Yes I ve seen from RW file and I said it needs to add new ACPI Slic module !
It's dangerous as many times it produce a brick !
I cannot find a Recovery procedure for your pc (it's a mini laptop as EEpc ?),
Have you found something about Recovery if bios flashing goes wrong ?
I've found this, but don't know your pc
http://www.fic.com.tw/support/motherboar...aspx#bios7
I asked to a friend who knows much more about slic on pc without any reference
and He has to send me the file.
I have done it as it simple and You too can do it by yourself.
You have to get Phoenix Mod Tool 2.50 from here
http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...EFI-BIOSes
then choice your slic2.1 reference file as Acer[ACRSYS-ACRPRDCT-ANNI]2.1.BIN from this folder (it's slic and certificate to activate after Win7)
http://forums.mydigitallife.info/attachm...entid=8249&d=1296466462
Then use your FLASHABL.ROM file and AcpiTbls.rw and Acer[ACRSYS-ACRPRDCT-ANNI]2.1.BIN to mod original bios
http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...Bios-Files
start PMTool 2.50 load original rom file FLASHABL.ROM select "Manufacturer" OTHER and load slic file Acer[ACRSYS-ACRPRDCT-ANNI]2.1.BIN,
then load in "RW file" AcpiTbls.rw and the program analyze all and select methode "SSV2" as default
(SSV2 new module - DYNAMIC update module the 2nd is almost quite ease without problem),
it means and You can check in display's windows output PMTool that there isn't Slic Table, so new SLIC (ACPIx.rom) module
will be added to your bios and press "GO" without touch others configuration !
It will produce a new bios file as "FLASHABL_SLIC.ROM" if don't advice for errors and give a positive message
(I tryied it and all is right) You'' get the file in your original bios folder !
So I asked to a friend of mine to do it so I can compare with his work mine and be shure,
I repeat there is a possibility to brick the laptop and I don't want responsability.
I have just done mine file and can post here and I decribed the procedure so You can do by yourself,
but I will post only when I got from my friend a confirm.
Let me know, or try to find if there is a Recovery Procedure for FIC pc !
