I think I'm just gonna change my mb... Tired of all this.

Anyway, thank you for your time and your help, if I ever need some modded bios again, I'll ask you Wink
You can always ship your motherboard to me if you dont want it, as I value spare parts for testing bioses and making your lives easier. Big Grin

Sorry you couldnt get it,

Haha ! I bought a brand new gigabyte one and it works like a charm ! But I lost a lot of money...

Yeah, this could be a little donation, but I'm in France and it may be very costly. Where do you live ?

Nope, you made everything you could
Gigabyte are great boards, have the dual bios and all. I sent you my shipping info to your PM, so if its not a overwhelming cost Id appreciate the ship Big Grin

Despite past struggles, if you read my blog post and update in this thread, I have finally found an easier and more successful method. This BIOS will add all support for all current Phenom II proccessors and the AM3 proccessor line.

I was the happy owner of a HP Pavilion Destop Computer a6632sc, HP MCP61PM-HM (Nettle3), bios version 5.17 released 2008-12-04.

Bios 5.17 on HP-website: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...pv-66795-1&lc=en&dlc=da&cc=dk&lang=da&os=2100&product=3813841

I made a USB flash drive as described else where in this forum and used AWDFLASH to flash the bios NETTLE3MODCPU.bin and saved the old bios as oldbios.bin on my flash drive. No warnings and the the update seemed to be succesfully according to AWDFLASH.

Then I restarted the computer - but... now I have a black screen. Just that. No warnings from led-lamps or sound. Eg it is not possible to reflash the bios with my usb flash drive. It is not recognished any longer. I have no floppy drive, so I would prefer another solution. I have tried to remove battery and clear CMOS. Still just black screen. Still no warnings etc.

Does anyone have a tip to recover my bios (the new bios or the old one). Does this mean I have to buy a new mobo?

(Sorry for my english. I am from Denmark.)

Thanks in advance for any help to solve this problem.
Hey honib, I am really sorry to hear about this. In any event, it seems like the only chance you have of recovering your board is to grab a replacement BIOS chip from http://biosman.com They cost about 20 bucks, and you basically have them program the bios for you, they ship it, and you pop in the new chip.

I also have removed this bios, it seemse that the MEMINIT may have been corrupted, and I am extremely sorry for your trouble. I have updated it at this link. If you decided to pay the 27 dollars for the new chip, ask them to program it with the updated link below, which will do what the original was supposed to. Once you recieve it, I will give live tech chat support to make sure everthing gets back up OK.
