Hi Guys.... new to the forum Angel

camiloml, I've read all your posts and understand my laptop is RSA signed and the risks that come with flashing a modded bios. I'd still like to try... hopefully you can help me please?? Shy

BIOS Link: sp60655.exe
InsydeH20 Version 03.60.48F.1C
BIOS Version/Date: Hewlett-Packard F.1C, 1/23/2013
System Model: HP Pavilion dv7-6c70ca Notebook PC
Processor Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM

Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030
Device ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008B&SUBSYS_53158086&REV_34\4&377ED954&0&00E1

I want to upgrade to wireless ac with the IntelĀ® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260.... but the stupid bios won't let me.

Any help is greatly appreciated... thanks!!
Are you sure that those bios are for your laptop? HP's drivers and support website says the latest version for your laptop is sp55068 F.1B.
I had the model number a little off... sorry about that. Updated the page.
Unfortunately all bios released for your computer have a signature check on startup. This prevents any modifications to the rom by bricking the laptop if it fails the check. Sorry for the bad news Sad
Sad the whole whitelist thing sucks!

Thanks for your help.
