Is there any chance you could provide a comparable orom update for the rev 1.0 of the GA-EP45-UD3R?

I used the F12 revision from the Gigabyte website and modified the following:
ICH10R southbridge - v13.1.0.2030
8111C ethernet - rtegrom258.lom
SATA2 chip - jmb362_C_1.07.28
AHCI-pchahci_1.20E

Will this recognise 4TB drives or does each new size need to be added?

Thanks

Thats great will rack them up for my nas. I have already installed the bios and everything is working fine except no hard drives are detected if AHCI is selected. This is not a great hardship for me more important that I can get the size in there. I did a bit of searching and there seems to be some issues with AHCI-pchahci_1.20E. This is not my area so I can't offer any details. I haven't tried the raid setting to see how that works as Im looking at software raid (Openmediavault - softRaid and Raid10). I will test it out when I get my new drives latter in the week just for interest.

Thanks again.

The feedback I'm getting is that AHCI-pchahci_1.20E is not working correctly as you indicated. Check tomorrow. I'll use the stock AHCI-1.20 version that came on my GA-EP45T-USB3P. This one scans the drives at boot and shows them on the screen.
I'm attaching a modified F12 bios' for both GA-EP45-UD3R rev 1.0 and rev1.1 with the following updates:

ICH10R southbridge - v12902006
8111 ethernet - rtegrom259.lom
SATA2 chip - jmb362_C_1.06.78
ICHAACHI 1.2 original from a EP45-USB3P

I downselected the Intel RAID OROM since somefolks were having 13 series issues. Both the jmb362_C_1.06.78 and ICHAACHI 1.2 original bring up a screen at boot and this may help AHCI detection issues

Let us know how it turns out.
