Hi @ all,

I'm new to this forum and want to know, is my BIOS up-to-date or should I replace some ROMs before flashing my board?

This is BIOS version 2104 with OROM 13.1.0.2030 for a ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77.

Should I update the Intel PXE OROM? Or e.g. the ASMedia OROM?

Thank you.

The manufactures drivers and support website will provide the latest bios for your specific computer.
Hi,

I know but the official ASUS Support Website offers only the newest BIOS version with old OROM IRST SATA, old EFI IRST SATA etc. that's why I updated the OROM SATA and the EFI OROM fist. That's safe, but if I update e.g. the OROM Intel PXE and EFI Intel UNDI just to the newest version I can 'brick' my motherboard. For example, the newest OROM Intel PXE version is incompatible with my motherboard.

Does anyone know the last safe OROM versions for my mainboard?
The most recently tested OROM version for each component is what comes with the latest bios update. Using different version of those can lead to unexpected results since they haven't been extensively tested by the manufacturer.
