I've been reading threads regarding removing the whitelist from Lenovo's bios, however the only bios file I am able to download is a .exe file. Is it still possible to to mod this file?

Where is that file ?, We can get a backup too from your eeprom.

Sorry, but the site will not allow an exe file to upload. So, how do I get it off the eeprom?

From your laptop We have make a backup (if your bios is not update t new, you will update before), I will post links for programs to use to do a test and a backup.

Nevermind, the file size is 4608k, and won't let me upload. I tried shrinking it in the backup utility, but it produced the same file size. Any ideas?

How long does it usually take to mod a bios? I would like to give my friend a time frame.
