It's not only bios backup problem as we have to flash back bios in Eeprom, so We have to get working FPT.
If You tried both version 8.1 and 9.5 from Windows and from dos out of luck We have not any chance, may be You cannot use well FPT.

You need to be able to dump with FPT, try DOS version, create a DOS bootable USB with rufus and run the command

FPT.exe -d biosbackup.bin -bios

in same folder as fpt.exe is of course, if no go, upload a image of the error you are getting
Is your computer series 6 or 7 or other? if u dont know post a picture of CPU-z program running

Yes, there actually is another approach, one that changes manually only the settings that you want with EFI shell and it is described in russian in CodeRush forum OR in the insyde bios requests forum here, the name of the topic is
[READ FIRST] access Advanced settings through EFI shell
And it it pinned

I think I will wait the acer website come out new bios then send address to you.
Thank
I have studied the same problem on E1-510 and there are no CSM or legacy OptionROMs in this new BIOSes, which means no Legacy mode anymore.
It can't be "unlocked", because there is no legacy code in this BIOS at all, sorry.
