Hello

I live in Poland, so my English can not be very good. Smile
I have a problem with my laptop Fujitsu Lifebook AH531/GFO (with 2 graphic cards). In this laptop originally there is installed Wifi modem. I wanted to have Wifi/Wwan/GPS, so I have bought the modem Wifi/Wwan/GPS/Bluetoth Option GTM671WFS with SIM card slot. I have mounted this new modem into laptop and the laptop does not swith on. When I push the ON button, the power light is lighting during 20 seconds, the display is black and then power light turns off and the end.

I tried this new modem Option in other laptop - it is OK, laptop swith on and works OK. I tried other Wwan/GPS modem in my laptop Fujitsu - the same result - my laptop does not swith on.

It all shows, that Bios in my laptop has this new modem blocked on the white list. So I'm looking for Bios for my laptop with whitelist removed. Can You help me?

The link for original Bios from Fujitsu:

Is there anybody who can help me?
Need PCI HW ID of old / new device to try
How can I check it? Please write me clear instruction, step by step. I'm engineer, but in chemistry, not in computers... Smile
How to obtain the IDs:
1. Remove existing wireless card from laptop, leave the access cover off.
2. Boot laptop and enter boot selection screen. Press F8 therefore.
3. Install new card (whilst laptop is running), no need connect antenna wires.
4. Boot into windows and new card will appear as unknown device.
5. Now you can obtain exact ven, dev & subsys id's from device properties

you see in device manager (properties in my computer), then double click the device and Details -> Hardware Ids eg:
PCI\VEN8086&DEV1000F
OK.

Old:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008A&SUBSYS_53058086&REV_34
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008A&SUBSYS_53058086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008A&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008A&CC_0280

New:
USB\VID_0AF0&PID_9200&REV_0000
USB\VID_0AF0&PID_9200
I believe this is not a whitelist problem...
And what is a problem?
