Hello everyone. I have a Packard Bell - MH36  and my Bios Version is p07. I want to install mac on my laptop so i would need to upgrade the bios fo AHCI option.
i used these posts and recommendations, Phlash16 ( or Ph1614), bios.bin , bios.wph images. the steps were:
1. I downloaded files from forums
2. i get my flash bootable with hp software.
3. put the phlash16.exe ( or ph1614.exe) and bios.bin ( i tried other image files  in these postes),
4. i went to doc mode and use "phlash16 bios.bin" and when it was working i got this error " Port ID not found in table of supported ports"

what shoud i do???

THanks
Hello omidj,

Try the following command: "phlash16 /s /x /force bios.bin"

MH36 Flash sucessfully but nothing changes :/
hey everyone, i want to update bios  on my old mh36 for upgrading the cpu to T7500. I have done all steps, how was discribed in the threads. Dodwloaded file PBPE2L0N.P14 and maked the DOS bootable flashdrive. But the question is how to make a bootable bios file from PBPE2L0N.P14 to bios.bin or bios.wph? Thx
It is hanging on this. do i something wrong? it's equal what name has bios file?
Hi, I have the same problem.
I have tried flashing bios from the PB MH36 with V.P05 using the PBPE2L0N file.
I have extracted the file bios_mod.p14
and I have renamed it as bios.wph finally after creating the bootable USB and pasting the files I have used the commands ... PHLASH16 / S / X / FORCE

PHLASH16 / S / X / FORCE BIOS.WPH

renaming again as bios.bin

PHLASH16 / S / X / FORCE BIOS.BIN

using only the command
PHLASH16
it seems that the program detects the .wph it tries to start and then loads the error | ID IS NOT FOUND IN TABLE OF SUPPORTED PARTS |
In other forums on I have read solutions how to install BIOS UPDATES in order.
in this case as I have P05
Should I try to install P07, P10, P13 AND P14 at the end?
My ultimate goal is to install BIOS P14 so I can swap a T1600 for a T7700.
Currently with this bios and the T7700 the laptop turns on for about 5s without giving an image.
Was it possible to simply include the microcodes for T7700?
There is no support software for both the bios in PB and the CPU in INTEL.
Thanks to everyone beforehand.
