Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hi folks.

I have a T410s US version, model 2901 CTO and i'm trying to add a Lenovo WWAN card PN: 60Y3279 FCC: VV7-MBMF5521GW1

Unfortunately the card is ment for EU regions. Is it possible to change the region in the bios?

The bios file for US and EU region is the same so there must be catch how the system defines region.

The EU model for exaple is 2924 9HG

It should be simpler to change the model rather than whitelist removal. Will someone be up for it?

i think that region informations are in the card, not in bios.

So how the card knows it region? Probably it is a through the model number since 2901 is US 2912 is Finland/Sweden, 2924 Nordic (Norway etc) they definetaly work with the card. Even Canadian model should work with the card, as it is described in the lenovo page.
So, how tho change the model number?
Or the only way out is the whitelist mod? Unfortunately i think with that comes the same 2x5 beep issue as with T410

I am trying to install intell wireless card, but when booting up, I get 1802 unauthorized network card error. As I researched, it turns out I have to either modify PCI-ID on wireless card or modify bios

In this forum, I did find a modified BIOS file for T410, but I'm looking for T410s 2901CTO, can anyone please help?
