Hi.

I am on win 8.1 64bit, I have been having an issue with my r9 290. It always BSODS on this system, it is fine in other systems. I checked bluescreen viewer and there is always one issue which appears:

Code:

This looks like my system is trying to update the microcode?

Can someone inject the newest microcode for the i7 2600k into the F10 BIOS here?

Z68XUD7.F10

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product...x?pid=3847&dl=1#bios

I believe the newest microcode for my cpu is:

cpu000206a7_plat00000012_ver00000029_date20130612.bin

I have tried this myself, I can add the microcode to the BIOS NCPUCODE.BIN but it doesn't list the CPUID with the new microcode revision at the bottom. See here:

Code:
C:\Users\G\Desktop\mc>NUL > NCPUCODE.BIN

Hi,

Thank you for that. I compared it to the one I made and it is the same. At the bottom it does not list the new revision/update id 29 against my cpuid 06A7. Is this normal then?
