Thanks dude! That's awesome! I was a bit confused tho, because "Hidden Menu: Enabled" actually makes the menus hidden, while "Disabled" makes them appear for me.
Can you flash bios using dos as im stumped
Hello ichi1681,

To flash the modified BIOS image using DOS (which is the recommended method), please follow these instructions for Phoenix BIOS images.

~Steven
i tried to flash the bios using winphlash using the hiren boot dvd method and get an error when flashing the bios

Error message is:- corrupted interface description in the new BIOS file.
Part Table signature not found in the interface. Error code - 161

any help will be most appreciated.
also using Phoenix Phlash16 for dos you get an error telling you that it was unable to open bios.wph
Hello ichi1682,

Try following the DOS 'phlashing' method, but with this command: PHLASH16 BIOS1.WPH /S /X /FORCE

I think that the reason you are getting the "bios.wph not found" error message is that the file is named "bios1.wph" rather than "bios.wph". Please check the BIOS file that you are flashing.

Hi Sml6397

I followed your advice and renamed BIOS1.WPH to BIOS.WPH and im getting a little bit further, but when I try to flash the bios using hiren and Winphlash i get the error,  Corrupted interface descriptors in the new BIOs file.  Part Table Signature not found in the interface. Error code - 161

When I try to flas the bios using dos and PHLASH16 (Phoenix PHlash16 Version 1.7.0.21)  I get the error message,
Invalid FlashInt.Bin
When I use PH1614 (Phoenix Phlash16 Utility Version 1.4) I get the error,  Platform Signature Not Found in the Interface

I hope that you or anyone out there can help

Thank you for your help so far
I'm hoping that if i can get the bios flashed with the modified bios i can install Ubuntu onto the ideapad s205 and get it to boot lol
xsmile, this is fantastic. Thank you.

Are you able to detail/upload a screenshot of what options are available on the AMD options screen?

I'm hoping to enable virtualisation on the S205 and it does seem possible. Last hope lies here.

Thanks again.

Thanks to xsmile, you just did a wonderful job Smile

Please adjust the settings the way xsmile posted above.

I flashed the bios.
Now I need a power-on password.
What to do?
Sorry for my English.
