If you are struggling to recover your AMI bios, follow these instructions.

Attach a floppy disk to your computer. Then rename your BIOS to AMIBOOT.ROM. Copy this file to your floppy disk. Please make sure that no other files are on the disk!. Then insert the floppy, start up the system, and repeatedly hti Ctrl Home. When the recovery is complete you will hear 4 beeps. You can then proceed to shutdown and restart your system. If there is no way for you to use a floppy drive, this method should work on a CD, or for newer systems, a USB device.

If this fails, please use our chip reprograming service to repair your BIOS.
