I am experiencing problems with voltage throttling on my FM2A88X+ I'm completely new to this, but reading through AMDs Bios Kernel Development Guide it seems that they require the bios to conform to the maximum rated voltage for the chip. (in my case 1.55V)

I am hoping there is a way to override or at least increase the maximum core voltage allowance before the motherboard begins to throttle down the voltage.

When using offset voltage I can achieve the overclock rates I am shooting for (the voltage stays under the max of 1.55 when idling), but as soon as the cpu is under load and the voltage demand increases the motherboard throttles the voltage, and in turn the multiplier drops.

I understand the inherent risks with over-volting the cpu, and would not hold anyone other than myself responsible for any damage caused by such an act. Smile
Upon further testing I think it is also a physical limitation of the hardware. Even with supplemental cooling the VRMs are unable to push more than 1.4438V under extended load without dropping to 0.92V intermittently.
