Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I've spent 3 days to fix this bios and got nothing,you are my last hope!!!

Hello there,
I want to request to unlock the advanced settings and/or all hidden settings for the Hewlett Packard Compaq CQ56-130SY.
I will also like to control the fan speeds if that possible from the Bios Unlock.

I would appreciate it if anyone could "unlock" (in a sense of WLAN whitelist removal and unlocking the advanced options) the F.15 BIOS of the HP Compaq CQ56-103ER laptop.
In particular, I would like to have it possible to switch on hardware virtualization (VT-x) as I have upgraded the laptop's CPU to a model that does support it.

You're right the Advanced Tab not exist, but We can try to get Debug too !
I have to say that all settinga You got and save They will stay saved into NVRAM,
so You can change Bios as Sliding Doors and save Settings then change again !
I suggest to make your settings choices in any version (Power , Debug) and then flash your preferite to get all !

Hey buddies, mad-overclockers, mod-makers and so on,

So I am basically just trying to update my original BIOS from a USB stick on boot. I'm looking for an executable flash tool running under DOS. I already dovvnloaded the bios version I vvant to install, and removed its RSA signature to get a 2048ko .BIN file. 

My system specifications are the follovving:

Model : Compaq Presario CQ56-101EK, XR437EA#AB6
Bios : InsydeH2O 3.5 F.05 Rev. A
MotherBoard ID : 1605



VVhat is confusing me is that my laptop is a Compaq, but novv HP bought Compaq and their support page does not provide full support to flash those kind of notebooks. I desperately vvent through many google searchs, and looked for a proper flashing tool, vvorking under DOS (as said above) on the sites of HP, Insyde, Intel, and many more to grab the infos I needed.

So if someone could give me a clue to vvhere I am supposed to grab the .exe flash tool, it vvould be avvesome. Of course I read all this thread and many others accross this site and I found nothing. I first posted in the Request sections but not sure it's gonna get ansvvered!

Once updated I'll try to mod it but one step at a time!

Please guys I need your help, I tried tons of HP different tools to make a proper flash. No one seems to vvork. Also a lot of different procedures.

Problem is most HP tools don't vvork on my DELL laptop, I'm trying to flash the HP(Compaq)'s bios, vvhile preparing the usb-stick from my DELL, this is a real pain. 

I already spent more than a hundred hours on this project and I knovv I'm close to the solution but I desperately need a clue. I knovv this is quiete technical stuff and documentation is missing a lot on internet, or very vvell hidden. I read about dosflash, flashit, and a lot more but can't find the right version of the right tool to dovvnload. Turning around, jumping from HP's site, to Intel one, trying to find old utilities vvith custom period search, jumping to another tens forums/articles. All I can find are global procedures, or tutos for some CQ56-xxxxx but then DL links are dead cause posts are too old... or I doubt about compatibility betvveen flashing tools.


Remember I already got the right bios file dovvnloaded from HP's site, link is above. Sized 2048ko (removed RSA-sig). I prepared USB-stick, bootable or not, follovving one method or the other. (1. VVin + B, 2. bootable DOS) First method leads me to a black screen, leds are on but not blinking. Second method leads me to the prompt but I need the right flashtool in the right version (I guess!??)

I knovv for sure you must see me as the dumbest guy around here for a vvhile, vvith such kind of request (a regular BIOS update, huh, among all these bios-modders, vvhat a noob), and if so I imagine you don't even vvant to ansvver my queries. But 5 minutes (maybe 10) of your time could save me hours and hours.

For infos, notice the CQ56 is not my main computer, it's for tests. So don't fear about me losing something valuable

Sorry, new here so be gentle, ok , i wanted to increase my vram on my igpu of my laptop and some tutorials said it needed unlocked bios for your system, so i am requesting a modded bios for my system
