Tried installing 2 Xeon L5420 (SLARP) on Fujitsu Econel 200 S2 socket 771. It is supposed to support them but the system doesn't boot with them. Currenly using Xeon 5148.
Chipset is Intel 5000v.
Bios is here: http://www.morrberg.com/fujitsu-bios-update/AMIBOOT.ROM

Is it possible to whiteflag ram ? If i use non fujitsu ram, the systems complaints..

Thanx in advance!

Hi ! morrberg
I had injected microcode for l5420 with this bios, but i'm not sure whether it can be boot .You need to try it . If you have other mainboard to install 771 cpu and need to add microcode .
You can also visit my page .>>here
Thanx, i have tried it now, but it still doesn't boot. I can go into the bios, and the CPU is identified correctly. But when i try to boot its stuck after NVRAM -ok. i wonder why it doesn't boot. The voltage is within intervall 1.1114v, the cpu is identified correctly, and the bios is working as it should, and no heat issues. Strange.. Well thanx for trying.

I think you can try to Clear CMOS Rest BIOS .
Hi!
Tried clearing the CMOS, even removed the battery. Still no luck. I have read that the 5400 series might need hardware support for them.. Going to try i 5300 series xeon..
