Hello, I receive a bios from BDMaster and now my keyboard and trackpad dont work. Could I go back to the manufacturer (gateway) bios without a problem? Thanks

I need help BAD..when I try windows, is on a loop (loading files) and restarts..on linux it boots but I cant use mouse or keyboard...I needd to revert the bios change..these are my questions:

1. Can I just download gateway bios file the latest and do it??? the dos file (since I cant go on windows??
2. Do I have to strictly do the downgrade with the insydeFlash tool provided here??

I cant use my computer and I am a bit desperate for help!

Ok friend,
I found your old post and I saw your Bios is ver.1.03 so to downgrade use Dos Mode, copy
all files from Dos folder Bios Original v.1.03 into an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and
boot from USB, then run this comand pxxx5103.BAT

See how to make USB Dos Bootable here:

P.S. Bios Mod is working for me ! I think You changed Settings and locked System Wink

I did this and I get FADT not found! Huh I think I just lost my laptop.. Sad Do you have any other things I could try?? I am out of ideas honestly
GOT IT!! GOT IT WORKING!!! Just for the records, the only way I was able to get it working was following the InsydeBios Recovery. The only variation, in Gateway the key combination for recovery is (Fn) key + Esc (These have to be pressed while the laptop is 1.without the battery and 2.Disconnected). Once you press FN key and ESC, you connect the laptop to the power cord, turn it on and then release FN Esc and VIOLA. Also, the Bios name is crucial, and it is as simple as BIOS.fd.

Thanks BDM
