Hello there,
Trying to exchange Acer ExpressGate with something usefull (aka: chromium OS). Long story short: I need to replace the ExpressGate/DeviceVM-Loader in the BIOS with a custom one. I'm able to "extract" my BIOS using Phoenix SLIC Mod (which reports it as an "EFI / Insyde-Bios"), now I need to do is to replace the "F417FEA9-9022-41AB-84E2-ADDB85559738_1_1182.ROM"-file from the dump with a custom file I provide and pack it back together to a BIOS file I may flash. No need to actually tamper with any SLICs, if I understood it correctly. Is someone able to do this and/or provide a simple tool for this task? I uploaded a current BIOS-dump and the file I want "F417FEA9-9022-41AB-84E2-ADDB85559738_1_1182.ROM" to be replaced with as "replacewithme.bin" here: http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/535zX...oTP7q1MgtQ.
