Ok friend,
can You upload some screen shots during flash operations, specialy when from Dos (using USB) You run flash.bat comand !
Please so I can look and understand (SecureFlash = SecureBoot = UEFI RSA) Leagcy USB, You're ok !
Regards
Try to do It manualy, run from USB Dos thiese comands :

1. prr.exe (hit enter then pause)
2. fpt.exe -f bios.bin -bios (hit enter then pause)

If there will be the same error then your Eeprom is locked, so try to use FPT from Windows !
Copy Modified folder into C:\ (primary HD), then open a Propmt Comand CLI with Administrator Rights and last run these comands :

1. cd C:\modified\
2. fptw -f bios.bin -bios (for 32 Bit)

or fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios (for 64 Bit)

Let em know
Regards

Hi guys,

I want to resurrect this topic again, because of help is required to reflash original Acer BIOS v1.15 for Acer V3-771g laptop.
History:
Friend of mine asked to refresh (reinstall) Windows 8 on Acer V3-771g. I installed Windows 8.1 on it and everything was Ok, except sleeping mode. Laptop doesn't goes fully in sleep mode-fan is still working, system led (on button) still shines, but HDD, wireless and monitor is off. Also it can't awake from sleep mode. I needed to do cold reboot every time it goes asleep. Additionally noticed strange behavior of restart command-first laptop shutdown and only after 10 or 15 secs it switches on.
I thought it can be related with drivers of chipset or gpu, but it is not. Tried every possible combination of Windows version and drivers.
Windows 7 with standard Microsux or original Acer or latest Intel chipset, GPU and Nvidia GPU drivers-sleep not works. The same was with Windows 8 and 8.1. I did experiments with settings of active power scheme also, which didn't give me result as well as other possible "solutions" found on net. Then I decided update Bios. This Acer V3-771g came with original v.1.12 BIOS, so I flashed latest 1.15 and ... nothing changed. Pissed of that, I did dumbest mistake in my life. I decided to flash UEFI FireCode95 modded 2.23 bios over 1.15 original. And guess what? Nothing changed. Neither in legacy mode, neither in UEFI mode with Windows 7 or 8, or 8.1 with different drivers-sleep mode on this laptop doesn't works. Here it came enlightment to my brains-something is really wrong with mainboard and laptop needs repair service. Laptop is still on warranty, but it will end soon on 29 of May. Now the main problem itself- we can't give this laptop to warranty repair service, because of modded or even official 2.23 BIOS. Now I am complete stuck. I can't revert back to original v1.12., and can't even update to 2.28. Getting "Invalid firmware image", when try update to UEFI Acer BIOS v2.28. The only one is possible to flash-official 2.23 UEFI Acer Bios on which I am now.
Accidently found, that Sunboy (#10 post of this topic https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-p...6#pid74876) successfully flashed 1.15 over 2.28. But all provided links of modified v1.15 Bios by BDmaster are dead. I desperately seeking for help to do the same. Any help is appreciated.
Bump ... No one?
