Does HP employ a whitelist for WiFi Cards?

I have just purchased
Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11AC

I don't want to have to return it, I want to know if my HP DV6 7015CA will work with this card. If a white list is in place, how could I remove it?

** Love the forum and it's goal of bypassing such nonsense btw **

Any help is welcome! Thanks a lot guys!
Yes, HP uses a whitelist to prevent non-approved WLAN and bluetooth devices from being used in their products. The user guide for your laptop, which contains a list of all compatable hardware, can be found on HP's drivers and support website.

According to it, you can only use Atheros 9485GN with 3012 Bluetooth, Atheros WB225, Broadcom 4313GN with 20702 bluetooth, and Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230.
