1. Download and flash BIOS 1.28
2. Flash my previous patch:

Install old CPU, boot from USB stick with DOS and run FlashBin.exe.
3. Reboot and make BIOS backup again.

Same effect. BIOS ROM is currupt. I think HP inject protection mechanism in BIOS. I'll try tomorrow flash your version of BIOS by CH341A. It's difficult because first i must desolder eeprom  (soldered eeprom on M/B not to read, maybe protection by HP too) then flash and solder it back.
Did you delete my "corrupt" mod from flash (files: 7F1_0135.bin & flsh.cpu)? You need to use my previous patch with name 786F_771_1067A.zip
Don't use my mod with CH341A!

Hi. I did not succeed. I have modified original ROM 1.35, erase any microcodes exept 1067A plat 2,6 and flash it by CH341A. PC start with normal CPU-fan speed, but after mem check and saving coniguration PC restart and have same result (black screen and full speed CPU fan).
OK. I still need a result of tests with BIOS 1.28 and my previous patch (786F_771_1067A.zip).

Can't downgrade BIOS from 1.35 to 1.28, 1.24 or 1.04. Any attempt to flash BIOS to version lower then 1.35 has BootBlock Emergency Recovery Mode screen. I take BIOS ROMs from HP site, and i don't understand, why this ROMs is corrupted? Do you have ideas, how to downgrade BIOS version without using CH341A, because i'm afraid, if i desolder EEPROM one more time, contact pads will break?
Tried to flash BIOS 1.28 from Windows or DOS?

OK. I take same motheboard from other dc7800 sff with BIOS ver. 1.04, and upgrade to BIOS ver. 1.28 Then i flash your microcode patch, but it not take effect, still same result - with X3363 CPU after reboot have black screen and full speed CPU fan.
OK. This updated microcode for current CPU only. See offset = 0x260000.
Please try my new mod for BIOS 1.35 on your first motherboard.
