Hello,

i have a problem to dump and backup my current bios!
i extract the Original Acer Bios file with 7zip and change
the platform.ini file.

[BackupROM]
Flag=1
FilePath=
FileName=

When i start the InsydeFlashx64.exe an error occured thats no bios file is included!
(only files from image are extracted by 7zip)

The original packed file is 7mb and the unpacked files only 4mb
and no *.rom, *.fd, *.bin is included in extracted file
where can i find the new bios file and how can i backup my current
insyde bios?

Try this ! Your Bios Backup will get name Test.bin and will be saved on C:\ HD.

To make a Bios Backup for Intel CPU You can use this tool too :

Run It as Admin and You will get a results.rar file then unpack It and into You'll find many .bin files (They are Insyde.bin and FPT Backups)
