says error 28 twice, that there are some protected ranged registers set by bios

what should i do?

Unfortunately, i am getting this error:

Quote:Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Any way to go past that error? Would flashing back to older bios help? Or maybe I should use some other tool to flash it? 

Sorry for all these questions, but I desperately need unlocked bios... Thanks!

Hi friend,
You cannot flash this Bios Mod as your Eeprom Chip is Write Protect
into result file is present Error 280 so You can try but to flash You have
to Downgrade to a Previous Bios version like 30 or 28 !

Thank you very much I downgraded to 30 and then flashed the bios you cleaned up, I do have a question the (EC) Embedded Controller is still version 30, is there anyway to bring it up to the current version without loosing the bios file you created for me?

There is no problem bout EC if do You want to align Bios and EC You have to flash the
actual locked version o is possible to Downgrade to previous version then make a result file
and then create a Bios Mod based on that Bios Version !
