Hi everybody!

I have a Samsung NP355V4C laptop.
This laptop has AMD A10-4600m APU, with a 7660G graphics core (iGPU).
It also has an AMD Radeon 7670M dGPU with 1024 MB of GDDR3 memory.

The laptop allows me to run Dual Graphics, however, the iGPU is limited to 512 MB of RAM max (UMA buffer).
I am trying to mod the BIOS to set the iGPU's memory to 1024MB.

I have copied the BIOS with AMIFLASH, and tried modifying it.
My changes were loaded, for example, I was able to find and change the strings that seemed to control the amount of iGPU memory - now the BIOS shows 3 options as 256/512/1024MB, rather than 128/256/512 as before.

But, even though I have the 1024MB option selected, the iGPU still shows up as 512 MB, and I confirm this with the Task Manager that shows that I have 7642 MB of memory available (8192 is what is installed, I was hoping to see 7168MB).

In fact, it appears that the name of the option is the only thing I was able to change, despite marking many other options as "USER"...

Please explain if there are any steps I am missing or not doing etc.

Thanks!

Once I get something going, I will post the file up here.

I can post the original BIOS dump and what I have if needed, but they are 4MB each.
