Hello,
I have a problem regarding my laptop, since my GPU died and I got another one which was used in a marginally later toshiba P500 satellite.
Is there a way to unlock the BIOS to make it work?
The mainboard had a discrete GT230M, now I have tried using a GT330M.
It simply won't boot, but the GPU is fine. I have looked for a way to unlock the BIOS in some way to make it work, but no mention was given on GPU upgrades.
I'm a total noob at this and looked at various programs and tools, but I lack the understanding of how to do it myself. Answers and help would be really appreciated. I didn't make a request for now since I am not even sure if it is possible on this notebook, although I've already flashed unlocked BIOSes on my Acer notebooks which had MXM.
