Hi!

I tried to do this, having exact same laptop and exact same Broadcom card I'm trying to make use of. However, $#% Asus is somehow detecting whether the card is wireless or not. That is, it all works only with wireless cards - all of them. I did a replace of Atheros VEN/DEV to Broadcom VEN/DEV in a BIOS file, but it didn't help. Seems like this is either out of my capabilities now, or that I possibly need to use an older BIOS - I'll soon compare them, try to use the oldest image and see if it works. I so hate Asus for this now. Been using them all my life, why'd they do this stuff? They never did this AFAIK.
