please can anyone help!

while trying to upgrade my old m.2 ssd to new faster one, the bios i had would not accept the change, so i sought help from the acer community as im not that great with bios programing and would prefer to leave it alone.

so problem was wanted to upgrade my m.2 ssd boot drive as it wasn't very big 60GB, so i could run the programs from a partion of the same drive instead of the the old machanical hdd. so did my research (bloody hard to find what m.2 drive you can actualy run, especialy when acer put a sata m.2 into a pcie slot) so 5 hard drives later Angry Angry . found new nvme ssd that  is accepted by windows shows in in drive manager and disk manager so i can initialize the drive at last Big Grin  Big Grin .

cloned windows on to it wouldnt boot bios wont recognise the drive because acer in their wisdom have set the pcie slot to sata only even though it accepts both Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry .

went to acer support no one there to help so went to acer community laid out my problem and got reply from nice man very helpful i thought, i thought!!! told me to update bios downloaded new one flashed it in no problem but still would not boot to new ssd so reported back told him id updated bios to v 1.14 which is newest on uk site. im now month 4 of what should have only taken an hour at most so you can see my pain. he reports back there is a v1.19 gives link to web address looked legitimate looked like acer site. so flashed bios all looked good until i relalized the start went no further than acer logo Angry Angry Angry

so tried extracting bios from package as discribed here with to recover bios with toold like phoenix tool, wincrisis, ect but as i said at the start not good at it phoenix wouldnt extract so other couldnt read it and so on

so after very long time(nearly as long as this expination) trying to get my nvme drive in, computer dead!!!! but does have recoery option if only i could sort usb drive to do so..

so what i would like to ask is can some one please please unlock my bios and package it so i put straight on to usb to recover my bios and then flash with unlocked bios with advance tab because im Ship at it and at the end of my rope with this.

Hi
This is not a bios dump Smile

sorry i'm new at this Undecided
Hello, guys

I'm having Acer Aspire V15 Nitro (VN7-571G-52SM). I've bought SSD (for the m.2 slot) and unfortunately I am not able to boot from it. My question would be - with unlocking of the BIOS and/or modifying it, can this option be allowed?

My other question is I see there are reports and files from the BIOS that needed to be uploaded here.

What tool I'd need to use in case my issue could be solved with MOD-ing the BIOS/UEFI ?

Thank you
