Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello everybody!
It's been a while since I have posted and to be honest I dropped the idea of the Hackingtosh since nodoby has helped any HP Envy m4-1015dx user to modify the advanced Bios tab or the white list.

I have been trying to modify the WiFi Whitelist so I could change my wifi card to an Intel 7260 Dual Band AC + bluetooth, but no luck. My computer recognizes the Wifi card but I can't turn it on. Is there something that can be done? Or should I forget about this laptop and get a new one?

To be honest, I am really tired of having so many problems with it. Either in Hackingtosh or Linux. The wifi card is always a problem.

only sp5xxxx.exe an not all are moddable so if You get an sp5 older one We can try !

Thank you for your response. Sadly, the oldest file that I can find is for Bios version F.14 with file named sp60642.exe - The older version of the Bios known under version F.12 is impossible to find.
I can conclude that I have no hope with HP. I guess I will have to find a better solution or just get rid of it.

I am having the same issue, I would like to install a dual band card as well. sp5xxxx.exe versions are available on the hp support site.

You just go to the bios tab (win8 x64) and under f.14 there is a tab for previous versions, F.13, F.12, and F.3. 12 and 3 are both sp5 versions. I have downloaded the sp5 versions but I don't know if you just need the link or if I can e-mail them to you. It would be wonderful to get a white list removed bios. I didn't even know they existed until I tried to update the wifi card.

Only and not only sp5xxxx.exe about 12-2011 are moddable, all the rest
RSA Check Internal and We can rewrite the Bios Mod only using an SPI PGM !
