For UEFI Bios exists an .EFI tool just for technicians and is
impossible to found !
So buy an HW SPI Programmer and You get the passprtout !

Could anybody reproduce the "howto get into advanced bios" procedure?
When I try fn+f2+r I just get into the normal bios Sad(( What do I do wrong?
I want to change the thermal settings!
Hi,

I tried this on my Yoga 2 Pro but I could't get that menu.. My bios version was 41 and I downgraded to 35 and then 31..
Still no result.. I think this option is not available on Yoga 2 Pro.

I was so excited when I see this post.. But now I feel so sad again.. Because I tired to install Os X on this device.. and the only problem that I couldn't get over was Intel HD 4400's Frame Buffer Size.. in MB.. Os X shows only 10 Mb..

Any comment for Yoga 2 Pro? which key combination and which version Bios I need?
I think It is a different Keys code for any Series !
But We can try to get Menu Unlock modiing Bios Backup too !
Let me know

Actually, I have a Lenovo Yoga 700-11ISK, and while playing some games and wanting to get better performance, I went in search of a bios option to change my VRAM amounts, and after pushing lots of buttons, including the F keys, power, novo, and having had JUST played a DirectX game, I got the Advanced menu option when I finally got to the BIOS, which had MANY options for video ram, so I went to research them and have not been able to get back in. However, this method is very similar to what I had done accidentally... I thought that was a normal menu, so didn't think about it again. In my research, I have ran into several posts from people that did the exact same thing as myself, that is how we know it exists and why we are after it.

So, unlocking the advanced menu is 100% possible with a key / reboot sequence. I just dont know it yet, though I am going to try this and report back. I have ALSO heard that Pressing F10 and then "A" gets you to Advanced, or some variation of that and a LOT of people have success with it.
