Have you tried reflashing the mod?
I read that for Dells , you have to flash the latest official one , then the modded one

I do that, and the slic never change from 2.0 slic. What happend? Something wrong the bios?

Hm im not sure. I would say there was something wrong with the mod itself if you never had SLIC 2.1 appear. However , thats not true as it WAS working so something you must have done/installed could have possibly knocked out the SLIC activation.
Im honestly out of ideas!

If you rebuild the bios? Maybe something is wrong with the old modded bios .. maybe ...

I have tested "1537 SLIC 2.1 v5 - 2.rar ( http://megaupload.com/?d=XQU5KBFP )" Bios Update with my Dell Studio 1537 Notebook, and I can confirm: it works fine!

It worked and verified with slic toolkit 3.2 but i have to ask this,
When I open with slic toolkit i get "There are 2 slic tables in the
XSDT BIOS"" The current slic table is NO:1"
Select the next slic table? Yes or No
i opened both and they seem to be the same. Am I good to go?

Hi, I would like to upgrade the bios on my Dell 1537 still to version A09. What is the latest bios mod generated for this model (Link???) and what are the benefits it brings?
Thanks!
Marquis
