Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hi. I did a search but cannot find what I want. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Intel 7260 wireless-AC card with a Acer Aspire 5742 notebook? I read that the notebook hangs at the BIOS if you try to use one of these cards. Some reviewer on Amazon mentioned using electrical tape to cover pin 51 or something. Anyhow would changing the BIOS to remove the whitelist solve this issue? If so here is the link to the latest 1.30 BIOS.

Acer Manufacturer has never used a Whitelist lock on any PC !!!
I haven't found s far on Acer, so It's a compatibility issue my friend !
