6 years later and my heart is pounding reading this thread in the hopes of an upgrade, but no dice. My i7-3770S rests in anticipation to get into my Dell Inspiron AIO 2320.

RnD Idea 1
We know dell has sold Inspiron 2330 with i7-3770S processor https://www.samsclub.com/p/dell-aio-insp...=pg:5/ct:r
so if the mods could extract the microcodes from the official dell 2330 latest bios A15 https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/...erid=g0f88 which was released in 2018 then there might just be a direction.

The latest 2320 bios A10 is here https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-in/...90/drivers

RnD Idea 2
I've stumbled upon this https://community.intel.com/t5/Processor...anguage=it and for the life of me cannot understand if this is relevant.

Will not help.
Well then that is sad. More posts should any more brainwaves flash.

Are there any walk-through/ guides to modding that the mods perform?
There is no way to add support of Ivy Bridge to BIOS without it.
In some cases firmware cross-flashing can help.
without it

Without What?
...without native support of Ivy Bridge
