Bios revision: F.0C Rev. A
Bios type: insyde Bios

Just an additional question; would removing the whole 'BiosLockPcie module' do the trick or will that make it also fail?

Ok forget my request as I already updated the hardware id, within the BIOS, myself, flashed it and can confirm that the new 7260-ac module works fine in my laptop :-)
