ASUS has just added two new CPUs to M3A78-T's support list, but removed them shortly afterwards:
Phenom IIX6 1035T(HDT35TWFK6DGR),3.1GHz,95W,rev.E0,SocketAM3,6-Core
Phenom IIX6 1055T(HDT55TWFK6DGR),3.3GHz,95W,rev.E0,SocketAM3,6-Core
So I suppose the BIOS is coming soon (yes, I'm waiting for it too
)
Proof:
From what I heard, they should be out this week, but I wanted a BIOS now, so I found this place
It looks like they are about to roll out a bunch of BIOS's.
I replace the agesa.rom directly.
and now i am calling my friend for testing.
I asked the question to another forum user, that seem to be very well informed.
There is a new BIOS version currently under testing, but the release date and the final version number is unknown.
This is the confirmation of the future X6 support for ours M3A78-T.
A little consideration about O.C.: The board is only 4+1 Phase powered, so be careful when overclocking a Thuban, the power consumption will raise very quickly (at 4 GHz - 1.49V the 1090T will draw 224W from the ATX +12V rail, a very, very fast way to kill a board...)
How about in BIOS testing?
The user that I mentioned in previous post said that ASUSTeK "freezed" any X6 BIOS developement for the M3A board series...
But he was so kind to "leak" a beta BIOS (1903).
This BIOS adds support for Phenom II X6 CPUs (except Turbo Mode).

If you have problems in downoading, I found another link:

I'll look at the image a.s.a.p because Project AM3 and the M2N series boards have been hard to find compatible meminit modules. Does this friend have any knowledge of M2N series boards?
Thanks,
