I have discovered an Intel 4500MHD residing in my notebook alongside with the ATI Mobility Radeon 4570. The problem is that it appears as "Inactive" in Everest's reports. My guess is that it is disabled via BIOS. My BIOS is Phoenix, so I would like to know which would be the proper tools to unhide, if possible, the option to enable the onboard video. How would you suggest I should go about this little opportunity for enabling the integrated chipset for some massive powersavings?
Sorry but Phoenix bioses cannot currently be unlocked by us. 1 of our moderators managed it but nobody could replicate his efforts and he hasnt visited in a while Sad

Nice to see I´m not alone!

I can see disabled in Everest on my Aspire as well, though I have a 5741G with Nvidia GT320M.

But in HWInfo32 I can see that the Intel IGP seems enabled there for some reason, it appears active???

I always wanted to know if it is a bios or HW related thing?
to be quite honest , why on earth would you want the intel integrated graphics if you have a GT320M and a Radeon 4570? Tongue

What i think this may be is the manufacturer released your laptops with different graphics options - those that didnt have the Nvidia / ATI cards just had their integrated intel ones active but if they were sold with ATI / NVIDIA cards then the Intel one was disabled

Hi guys!
Any news about activating the 4500MHD?
I am currently thinking of implementing a E-GPU on my 5738ZG, which would be optimal if I could use my 4500.
