Hello,

I have a strange problem on Acer Aspire v3-772g with GTX 760m gpu, insyde v1.15 bios and Nvidia drivers 350.12. It's unable to overclock the gpu properly, when i try to do it with Afterburner or similar apps, when i set memory clock to any non-stock value and hit apply button, it resets back to zero. However, core clock works fine, gpu-z shows it has changed. I've tried everything and as far as i know, gpu's vbios is connected to the main laptop bios and it (or Nvidia Optimus or drivers) doesn't let me change memory clock. Maybe somebody could unlock full overclocking on this laptop? I'm installing second fan and it will be more juice for overclocking. I cant sleep at night without this Big Grin

I will be very thankfull for any help.

http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...ER&SC=PA_6 :here is v1.15 bios

Now i know there are two gpu bios'es - one is vbios and the other is integrated into main system bios. Maybe somebody could unlock full gpu overclocking on the main bios?
Hi friend!
There are a specific tool NIbiTor if you want overclock/downclock Nvidia graphics.
It's supports 5 series and older only.So we can't modify your videobios now.
Sorry.
I wish it was easy as just editing gpu vbios, but it isnt. GTX 760M in my laptop is controlled by secondary bios which is module, integrated into main system bios. I believe Acer made this only for Aspire laptops with GTX series gpus. External vbios does nothing, i tried editing it with Kepler bios tweaker. It needs to be unlocked in laptop bios.
