I have an Acer Aspire AOD150 netbook, with the v1.13 BIOS installed. I have read about and tried unlocked BIOSes from these forums, but none of them work.  That could be because the file size of the unlocked BIOS is 5MB and the original BIOS from Acer is 1MB.

When I put my serial number into Acer's website, it tells me I have an AOD150 - I assume that this stands for Aspire One D150.  I know the motherboard is a KAV10, as I took the machine apart to clean out any dirt and saw the model number for myself.

These are links to the original BIOS, downloaded from Acer's website:

http://www.megafileupload.com/Clx/BIOS_A...13_A_A.zip
(both files are the same, but I wanted to ensure availability of the file)

Doesn't work. Flash drive flashes every 10 seconds and I left it for 15 minutes. It did the same with the 5MB file.
I renamed the file to KAV10.fd and it flashed successfully first time.

Now I just need to work out what these new options do!
