I really do not like the default KILLER logo of the z97x killer and I really want to change it with my own. Does this need to be done with a uefi bios mod or is there another way? The link to the motherboard site is here:

Please tell me what I need to do to change the UEFI logo, thanks Heart

EDIT: I found this topic, https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-A...97X-Killer , but It doesn't say anything about custom logo and I don't really know what it is.
Hi friend,
look here :

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-H...-uefi-bios

You can do in two ways :

1. using AMI Tool like described by Florin9Doi so It will be easy and quick
2. replacing the Logo Module into Bios using PSP 4.0 and PMT259

Let me know
Regards
Great, i somewhat understand so does it matter which way i do it? The thread looks like it talked about using pmt259 not amitool. Which way do you recommend and how do i go about doing it? Thanks
Try using AMI tool and flash from Dos using AMI utility !
Let me know

Thanks so much, is there a procedure I should follow? I've never modded a bios/uefi before. Also, I found this site here while I was looking for the tool and It says it is for ASUS not ASROCK. is that ok?:

EDIT: I couldn't find the tool but I got UEFITool

EDIT2: OK, so using uefitoolI replaced the raw section in the 7BB28B99... folder with my logo, following the same jpg format as the extracted one (is it ok if mine is 60kb instead of 48?) and I think I need to remove headers or something. Am I correct?
You have to replace the module as It is (extract as It is and relace as It is) into UEFITool !
Or prepare the pic to replace into Bios and upload here (get the Original Logo, then modify
It and upload this one modified), upload too the Bios File to use and I will prepare for You !
