Hy to all.

I tried to flash a moded bios and now the computer failt to start.
If i remove the CMOS baterry for 5 seconds and than reinsert it, when i connect the power cable the computer starts by himself and gives me a BIOS error 502.
Than it starts to start up and shut down everi 4 to 5 seconds.

I allready downloaded the HP tool to create a USB stick.

The update i want to flas bios with is:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50001-50500/sp50229.exe

But i don't know how to rename the bios file.
Now the name is:
0143B.fd

Thank you all in advance for the help
Look for tutorial to perform a BIOS recovery for you specific manufacturer (AMI, Phoenix, Insyde etc). You can find it here or in My Digital Life forums.
Hello superk,

To recover your BIOS, please follow these instructions EXACTLY.

As PhoenixTool does not specify a BIOS recovery name for this BIOS image, I would recommend that you follow the aforementioned instructions with the recovery image named "bios.fd" (without the quotes). Only do this if the current name does not work with the above procedure.
