Hello,

I never knew modding your bios was possible otherwise I would've done this years ago when I first got this laptop in 2009!! Anyways here's the link to download the phoenix bios v1.31: DOWNLOAD FROM HERE

Thank you so much for doing this guys! I really appreciate it! I wonder what new settings this will open up!

Here's a picture of the Main page on my BIOS. The video memory is greyed out. There is no graphics card on this computer though. I'm really hoping there is some way an option to slightly overclock it appears as well as a way to allow my DDR2 ram to work at 800 mhz because my bios underclocks it even though I have 800 mhz ram installed.

If you can unlock this bios for me I will send you $20 USD via paypal.

Still haven't heard back from SML6397. Hopefully he's just on vacation or something and will be back soon. Can anybody help me with this please? I will donate to you.
Offering a $20 reward to anybody who can unlock this bios for me and get the overclocking and ram options available.
Hello harkulesharkules,

Sorry for the delays. I just finished the Cisco CCNA module 2 and 3 courses at summer school. Could you upload a picture of your BIOS please (under the INTEL menu if it exists)? It appears that the INTEL Menu is already linked and unlocked. This menu contains most of the advanced settings that are normally hidden in notebook BIOSes. It may be hidden by a special function, however.

~Steven

EDIT: A lot of the normal INTEL menu settings are not linked in your BIOS image. I will add those. The special function can be disabled easily.

Thank you so much Steven! You have no idea how happy I was when I saw that you had replied to my post haha!!! I uploaded a picture of every single one of the tabs to my dropbox in case you still need to see them. There is no Intel menu settings. Here's the link:

Hello harkulesharkules,

It appears that the INTEL Menu is indeed being hidden by the function. I will no-op it, add a few settings to the menu, and then upload the BIOS mod.

The attached picture shows the menu that is already unlocked, but hidden.

That looks so amazing man! I can't wait to try this out! I'm eagerly refreshing the page every 5 minutes haha. But, take your time. I'm in no rush and once again thank you for helping me out with this!
Many of the CPU settings (especially thermal) are not pre-linked, so I will have to manually link them to their respective sub-menus. I will have the BIOS mod complete either tonight or early tomorrow (almost certainly tonight).
