im trying use that method for recovery bios acer but the led keep blinking and not update the bios..

i wait 30 minute same result. not effect..still same bios (no advanced tab)

take off battery and use step by step prosedur...

[b]P.S. Flash from Windows so use fptw (x32) or fptw64 (x34) . . .
Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\) and
execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64


but that file .fd not .bin..

That Bios is Pure not modified and Intel FPT is only for Intel CPU so for AMD + Insyde
I haven't any Tool to reflash the Bios Mod, only the SPI PGM and Clip !

   I have an Acer Aspire E15, E5-522-89W6
BIOS are INSYDE H20 V1.08. I am trying to unlock them to allow for voltage controls on the CPU.
If anyone can help me, it would be most appreciated, thank you.
