Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello !
I have tried to update my bios to newest version and in the middle of the bios update PC rebooted (saw online that i was not the only one). i have tried everything (battery draining AC removing CMOS battery out for 10 minutes )and nothing helps. Now i am searching the internet to find out how to recover my bios. I found this tool wincris which is suposedly useful for lenovo but i cant make the wph file as the bios file is .fl1 and to get the image out i need some exe file .... atleast that is what tutorial says ....has annyone tried to recover the bios on this laptop yet or maybe simmilar laptop?

the laptop is out of waranty.

anny help would be greatly apreciated!

Lenovo is the worst Recovery Bios I know so I can suggest You to get the Tools
(SPI PGM + Clip) and make a Full Dump Firmware !
Then upload It here and I will rebuild It for You !

Thanks for the fast reply. I as ondering if there is no bios file online i could get to at least try to enter the recovery ?

is it possible to use this to read the bios chip ?



i have already ordered the chip reader, but it ill take a month or more to arrive, i have also asked on a local forum if someone could lend me the reader. will see hat i can come up with ... will call tomorrow morning to lenovo service if they have anny info b4 i try to take it appart.
