I Googled about this and i know it feels strange. But this is the situation:

I got an Intel N6300 from an old HP laptop. It has the SPS on it, of course.

Then i tried to replace my Atheros AR9462 card on my Asus N551JQ with it. But it did not work. Code 10.

So my question is:

1. Does wifi cards from HP work on other laptops with no whitelist?
2. If 1 is YES, then does my Asus laptop have whitelist? (I see the Asus s/n on the Atheros wifi card, i think maybe).
3. If 2 is YES, then can i request a white list removal?

Old HWIDs: PCI/VEN_168C&DEV_0034&SUBSYS_22081A3B&REV_01
New HWIDs: PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_4238&SUBSYS_11118086&REV_3E

Thanks a lot!

Update: i plugged in another wifi card from an old Dell laptop and it works. So the problem pretty sure is not the Asus laptop. But then what's the problem, since the pc still recognize the Intel card, so i think it's not broken.
