Included there is the FPT.efi tool so You have to prepare an USB FAT32 Bootable
for UEFI so You can use here . . .

https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-boot-from-USB-in-UEFI

etc. etc. boot form USB Stick in UEFI and then execute this command :

FPT.efi -f bios.bin -bios

Let me know
Regards
Not working
Boot into DOS – not a problem.
And then DOS Displays: wrong file name or command
After that, by the way, the BIOS is not loaded and I have to use the Novo-Button
Also, I tried to load different options, different files (FPT.efi, FPT, fpt64.efi, fptw.exe, fptw64.exe)
It's not DOS as It's UEFI so You have Boot into UEFI mode !

I posted a link to explain !

To Create a Bootable UEFI USB Flash Drive using Free Program "Rufus"

1. Download the latest version of Rufus at the link below, and save it's .exe file to your desktop.

Note : This is a standalone exe file that doesn't install anything to your PC.

For Rufus FAQs, see: https://github.com/pbatard/rufus...

Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

2. Connect your USB flash drive if you have not already.

3. Run the rufus_v###.exe file, and click/tap on Yes if prompted by UAC.

NOTE: ### = latest version number.

4. Set Rufus with the settings below: (see screenshot below step 5)

Under Device, select the USB flash drive you want to format and use.
Under Format Options, check Create a bootable disk using, click/tap on the browse icon Name:
icon.jpg Views: 925422 Size: 1.2 KB to navigate to and select your 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 ISO file.

So as You can understand RUFUS needs an ISO of your Win7 / Win8 to grab the EFI Boot module !

Under Partition scheme and target system type, select GPT partition scheme for UEFI computer.
Under File system, select FAT32.
Under Cluster size, select the (Default) (ex: 16 kilobytes or 4096 bytes) it has listed.
Under Format Options, check Quick format.
Under Format Options, check Create extended label and icon files.
Under New volume label, you can enter any name you like for the USB flash drive, or leave the default name.

When You got theis USB Stick Booting UEFI then copy the "modified" folder's files into and
Boot in UEFI mode from the USB and execute that command

fpt.efi -f bios.bin -bios

Regards
Generally, I not did it again. Sad

Here is the final result (clickable):

And here, what I did to achieve this result (there is a folder with pictures - screenshots)

Such a question:
I did everything correctly, or I do not understand something?

Ok friend,
last test about Sleep Bug as your is an Insyde Bios, so flash from Windows !

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Let me know
Regards

(pay special attention to the second screenshot. At first I had problems with the Command Promt)

But judging by your tone in the previous message, the odds still remain, there are still some options, isn`t it?
Option for me is get the Tools (SPI PGM + Clip) and became free !
Look here :

It is perhaps too radical option.
The laptop still under warranty, besides it's not really my (my sisters)

In addition, I understand that surgery - is not mine Smile

If there will be method of non-surgical interventions (without disassembling the laptop), I'm ready to try software options.

Thank you very much for your participation and I'm sorry to trouble you.

Best Regards
I am sorry my friend,
I finished my options !
