Discrete graphics is connected to LCD panel throw CPU and chipset. So CPU must have integrated graphics.
In K52JT discrete graphics to LCD panel directly. And integrated graphics isn't needed.

Hello guys. I have asus K52JC too. So i want to buy and change motherboard for i7-720QM or i7-740QM comparable. Can you help me? what motherborad should i choose K52JR Rev 2.3 .... or K52JT, or it doesnt metter because they are similar. As i understood, discrete graphics should be connected to LCD panel directly and K52JR is ok with it.
And the main question is:
1.How can i get information (or where) is the stock bios of K52JR rev 2.3 support i7-740 or i7-720?
2. And is there an option of changing SG graphic to PEG or its disabled as in bios of K52JC? or i should do some changes in bios and reflash bios manualy to get support i7 and SG (PEG) option on K52JR?
3. If i change the motherborad to K52JR but wil use it with my CPU Intel i3-380M can i turn off Intel HD graphics through the BIOS? or its imposible in CPUs with intel hd graphic...

Motherboards for notebooks are very expensive. Simply buy new notebook.
BSW: I didn't find any successful trials to install i7-720QM or i7-740QM to K52JR.
