In the zip there is a file with this command: phlash16 USI11604.ROM /s /c /x /mode=3
instead in the "HOW TO FLASH MODIFIED OR ORIGINAL BIOS" thread there is: PHLASH16 /S /X /FORCE

Do I have to specify /mode=3 or not?

I'm not a tutor.

The DOS version of the flasher has risked breaking my BIOS, fortunately the PC restarted correctly.

From Windows I have successfully updated it.
