i've just done this and flashed my gf's old computer so we can give it to my mum for her first computer. i just wanted to get a bit more out of the computer so she'll be ok with it.

anyway, i only have 1 problem - the wireless card i have. windows 7 ultimate cannot find it and the led's on the card dont light up.

what could this be? otherwise all is good.

board = MCP61PM-HM rev 1.0a
amd 64 x2 4200+
anything else that needs to be known?
did you check that the SM-Bus driver is installed in windows (not showing up with an exlamation in device manager) and that ICQ routing in the BIOS is setup?
I successfully flashed the the bios from page 1, but in the DRAM Configuration, I don't see any options to adjust memory timings. Any suggestions?

I'm using an a6242n.
You have to hit ctrl f1 or ctl f9 combo keys to bring up those advanced options.

Thanks! ctrl+F1 seemed to do the trick, but I don't see a Tcl setting. It seems to be missing strangely. Any ideas?
All the options are visible once those keys are tapped so the BIOS simply must not support adjusting the tcl

Can I use this? I used normal bios for the acer t180 mod and it worked but there's no option for 400mhz ddr setting. Is my mobo compatible?
The Nettle motherboard is used in HP computers, and uses the same options that the Acer T180 does (its the same BIOS). To set your RAM to DDR400, I recommend setting MaxMemClk in the BIOS, which should detect the best clock speed for your ram. I also highly recommend upgrading to ddrII 800 RAM.
