You got your CPUs a bit mixed up Smile

The Pehnom ones, such as a Phenom 95W 9550 or a Phenom II, such as the 925 95W will run without issue. The X4 635 and Athlo IIs are a newer chipress I haven't added support for yet. Tthe athlon II generation hasn't booted on these boards yet, but i intend to try adding support for it soon. Meanwhile the original Phenom Is and IIs will work if you own one.

Thanks,
TheWiz

Do you think I can use the Phenom x4 9600 - 65W?
Yes, that proccessor is one of the best quad cores for this board actually. Also talked to my support staff member today and we are working on Athlon II support.
Hey guys!

Oh boy, you can't imagine how happy I was when i found this thread!
I just found an HP Pavilion a6305sc with this mainboard and an AMD 64 x2 5000+ cpu for a crazy price of approx $150.
So, does anyone have the same system as me, and what results did you get?
I can see that this thread has 40++ pages and it would take me quite a while to read it all.
Can someone help me out with what I need to do and where to find the files?
I've been overclocking quite alot before so I should be able to work this out too.
Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Sweden. Smile

Hey, I haven't posted the results yet because I'm trying to get a Phenom x4 9600 or 9650 (I think I can use this as well) and install it in my PC. It's been hard to find it. It looks like it was discontinued. As soon as I have news about it I'll post it.

Eduh Smile
I'm put a Phenom 9150e with and without HPET enable, and always no signal...
Fan low speed, vga(4870) leds stay on, but no any signal Sad

And... A Athlon II 240 are unsopported, right? I have one too.

Thanks and sorry about poor english Tongue

EDIT/PS: What's best processor to this mobo? Not so rare... God Bless the autors of this bios-mod! Big Grin
Welcome to the forums!

This is VERY strange because the Phenom 9500 works on this board fine, so a phenom I 9150e should work almost magically? There's a list a couple pages back of the CPUs tested, so I'm a bit unsure why you can't post. My suggestion would be to try some of the other BIOSes we got for this board, but let me look into this.

Thanks,
TheWiz
Thanks TheWiz! Big Grin

Unfortunately I returned the processor to owner, my boss... Boring...
That Phenom have a low clock, and I want a more powerfull.

I'll find what's the best for this mobo in this thread(readed 20 pages at moment), do you know what are?

Very thanks Master! Wink
This was the testing done by MrTangoWwhisky and he did get the Phenom I 91xx series working so I asked him to check in on this. This was his list.

All the problems I got was the measured TDP-limit of 103 W, in reality it even not gets the 95 W TDP needed for some newer 45nm-AMD-procs. The highest long-time TDP is about 80 W. Think about: Your OS must be able to load the cool'n'quiet-driver to lower the speed/consumption before the PC crashes down and reboots.
At the moment it works fine, fast and stable with an AMD Phenom (I) X4 9500 @ 2400MHz with 72 measured Watts!!!
Here is a list of procs, i tested:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (stock installed in Acer Aspire E380 wich was the former source of this board for me!)
Athlon II X2 245 (fast!!)
Athlon II X4 605e (no TDP-Prob, just not really fast!)
Phenom X4 9100 (fast, but not to and not so easy to get one!)
Phenom X4 9500 (the old 65 W TDP-one, really fast!!!)
Phenom X4 9750 Black Edition (slow 'cause of TDP!)
Phenom II X4 925 (no TDP-Prob, just not really fast!)
Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (slow 'cause of TDP!)

Once he posts well have a better answer, I'll also try to update the CPU AGESA support. He also reported athlon II working and others haven't had luck so hopefully we will get a solution Smile
