This version of the bios for Uniwill / ECS U50SI1 - U40SI1 mb based laptop is set to default FSB 800+667mhz.
The default value of original bios is set to AUTO, when in AUTO if you plug a PC2-6400 800Mhz 2GB memory module the laptop will not post and try to boot again every 5 secs. With this default value if you flash the bios when the mb battery dies it will reset to 800+667 instead of auto so you won't be stuck in a post / boot loop.
