Hi guys new to the forum! First post! If something I say sounds dumb or has been answered before let me know please! This info and question provided is from my own personal research!
I want to put a T9900 in my DV6785se. From my understanding my bios not only does not support that cpu but also the FSB is maxed at 800 i believe. So, question is, is it possible to get a modded BIOS to be able to adjust the FSB and allow T9900 support? T9900 runs at 1066. same socket.

No, it's impossible. Chipset (PM965) of your laptop supports 533 MHz and 800 Mhz only.

Awesome thank you. Answer I needed.
Now will that chipset by chance support an X9000? I know the BIOS update F.45 states that it Adds support for Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processors T8100, T8300, T9300, and T9500.Adds support for Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processors T8100, T8300, T9300, and T9500. Any way to mod bios to support the X9000? 2.8GHz 800Mghz
The BIOS, which supports T9500, supports X9000 too!
